Now on to a few card ideas I am happy to share!

Card 1

For my first card I used the Delicate Mandala Die along with the Nesting Labels Dies. After watercoloring an entire sheet of watercolor paper with Colorburst powders in deep jewel tones, I cut the mandala image 4 times from the watercolored sheet and glued the pieces randomly onto my panel. This panel measures 4 ¼ x 9 inches. Although not captured well on camera, I added Wink of Stella onto the cut pieces. The sentiment comes from the Just Because stamp set. As a final touch I added iridescent sequins to pick up all the colors.

Card 2

My second card features the lovely new Virginia 3D Rose die set. I cut the images from white 80# cardstock and colored them using the Sea Shore set of Altenew inks; the centers were colored using Buttercream and Warm Sunshine. Silver cardstock added a little bling to various parts of my flowers, and I cut the leaves from gray cardstock.  For the background I took my panel and cut twice the second largest die from the Nesting labels die set, took one of the positive pieces and added the sentiment to it with Obsidian Black ink. I LOVE this crisp, dark pigment ink, I got this impression after one press! Crystal drops added a final touch.

Card 3

Card number three also features the Nesting Labels die set. I first stamped the panel with the Rustic Linen Background stamp in Sand Dunes ink. Next I arranged and stamped the BAF: Poppy images in Obsidian Black ink, Tea PartySummer AfternoonLime and Antique Gold. The smaller images I filled in with my artist markers in Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades.  The sentiment comes from the Versatile Vases set. I then took the three largest nested dies, centered and taped them on my panel and ran through my die cutting machine. The center is glued to the panel, working outward each layer after that I added foam tape; 1 layer, 2 layers and the largest outside piece has a sheet of fun foam plus two layers of foam tape. Honestly, it isn’t as bulky as I thought it might be. I love the final outcome!

Card 4

For my final project using the new Star Flower Pop-up dies, I created a fun and simple A2-size birthday card.  I took a piece of mint green card from my stash and cut “hbd” from the center using the Bold Alphabet dies. For added dimension I glued additional layers to each letter then embellished the top layer using the Baroque Motifs in Coral Bliss. Before putting everything together, I took the green panel and cut the pop-up stars on opposite corners of the letters.  I added a layer of coral cardstock underneath my panel to peek through the flower petals. Nuvo drops make the flower centers pretty.
