My journey through the Educator Program was a great joy, being able to complete all three levels at my own pace from anywhere I could use a computer made the courses enjoyable! Today we are hopping with the certified Altenew Educators via this special blog hop and links party! There are prizes (of course), so be sure to hop along for inspiration and creative ideas. I am thrilled to share some floral cards with you as they are my absolute favorite to make, they are where my true mojo thrives. But first let me share some information with you:

Now on to some cards.
Card 1. For this project I chose one of my most loved Altenew floral stamp/die bundle, Beautiful Day. I was inspired by an invitation I recently created and thought I could carry it over to a lovely tri-fold card, what do you think?
I started by taking two 5x7 white cardstock panels and drawing a semi-circle on one side of each (I used my tape roll as a guide).
I did the following steps for both panels:
Card 2. This card was inspired by a journal I recently purchased, I think the flowers pop off of the black background. This card showcases a newer stamp/die bundle set, Simple Beauty.

- I arranged my stamps along the penciled line.
- Once I figured out placement I stamped the flowers using Altenew Mini Ink Cube sets in: Green Fields, Warm and Cozy, Golden Sunset, Summer Afternoon and Tea Party.
- I then fussy cut along the outline of the entire image. I also trimmed an inch off each panel from the non-stamped side.
- I then scored each panel about a half inch from the non-stamped side and secured with double sided tape to a third blank 5x7 panel to give me the tri-fold.
- I stamped a sentiment inside the card using the Beautiful Inside set.
- For my vellum band I heat embossed a sentiment from Forever and Always.
Here is another version of the card (standard fold card):
Card 2. This card was inspired by a journal I recently purchased, I think the flowers pop off of the black background. This card showcases a newer stamp/die bundle set, Simple Beauty.
- I stamped the main image of this set several times and again pulled out my mini cube sets including: Summer Afternoon, Sea Shore, Warm & Cozy, Red Cosmos. I used the matching Altenew Artist Markers to color the small blooms.
- The sentiment comes from the Mega Greetings 4 set.
- After I adhered the flowers with foam tape to my black panel I then cut off any excess hanging over the sides.
- Adhere the black panel to a 5x7 card base.
- Because it was an afterthought, I added faux splatter with my white gel pen.
